Kitchen Tea:

Celebrations are always fun, especially when it involves pretty dresses and cupcakes. We held a kitchen tea celebration in honour of my beautiful sister to be – Bianca.

Bride To Be- Bianca 🙂

We were lucky enough to be able to host the party in a friend’s gorgeous home situated within the Eco Estate. The house is a perfect combination of glass and wood. Surrounded by lots of flora and fauna giving the feeling that you are isolated within a forest.

Our guests really seemed to enjoy themselves <3
Pimm’s and Lemonade Recepe:

Makes about 20 x 250ml servings (as shown in the picture above)

  • Pimm’s No.1 (2x 750ml bottles)
  • Lemonade (2x 2L Bottles)
  • Sliced Cucumber
  • Sliced Apple
  • Sliced Orange
  • Sliced Strawberries
  • Mint Leaves
  • Rosemary Sprigs

Slice the cucumber, apple, orange and strawberries. Keep all the sliced fruit seperated- this will help when layering the jars. In a seperate large jug, mix the Pimm’s and Lemonade. Use 3 Parts Lemonade and 1 Part Pimm’s. We got our jars from Consol. Ensure that you wash them out before adding the ingredients. The jars must be completely dry before you apply the washi tape.

Add one or two slices of each ingredient to the jar before you add the Pimm’s and lemonade mixture. Slowly pur the Pimm’s and Lemonade to the jars as this tends to fizz quite a bit causing it to overflow. Add the lids and chill on ice.

Cheers to a great event!
